graphic design intern
While at Temple University, I was very fortunate to work as a graphic design intern for Temple’s Small Business Development Center. Temple SBDC is part of a nationwide network called America’s SBDC, a service that provides small businesses and upcoming entrepreneurs assistance in building their businesses. There are a multitude of face-to-face business consultations, trainings, workshops, and webinars focused on multiple topics to help local businesses start, grow, and thrive.
Temple SBDC Annual Report
The Temple SBDC Annual Report is a 26 paged publication that summarizes the organizations, small businesses, and efforts done by Temple SBDC during the year of 2021. The whole design process was accumulated through both personal design interests and what would best suit the current branding of Temple SBDC. I decided to utilize a style of overlapping shapes and colors that would interact with the images and texts given throughout the spreads.

Logos and Flyers
My main design contributions for Temple SBDC was to design logos and flyers. I designed several logos for specialized programs that Temple SBDC organizes for it’s community and small businesses. The flyers were designed to give information about upcoming events and/or worksheets to be filled out by clients. All of the design work was processed to reflect the branding identity of Temple SBDC.
Advertisements
Using a combination of the design tools within the logo creation and flyers templates, advertisment designs would be used to broadcast larger events held by Temple SBDC. These advertisements are designed using the logos, color palettes, and design compostions that correspond to each specific program.
Graphic Design Intern Pamphlet
For my final project as an intern at Temple SBDC, I designed an instructional pamphlet on the design tasks, projects, and programs available for the graphic design intern position. The pamphlet showcases past examples of projects and current programs that the graphic design intern can expect to use/demonstrate.
